this page is dedicated to skiing and climbing adventures of note, but at this rate, it's mostly just skiing. below is a selection of different trips i have had the pleasure to be a part of. i hope to create a few new video edits for this page per season. check out my vimeo page for all the latest and greatest.
This has become an annual ski tradition at Snowfall Lodge, December 31 - January 7th, 2023. This year's highlights included a wedding, dance performances, and a gregarious cook who enjoyed watching us fight for his treats. The snow was pretty amazing too despite some sketchy PWLs.
First-time video edit by Dafna Biton. This was an exceptional trip to Valkyr Lodge, March 13 - 20th, 2022. We received refills of around 10-15 cms per day. This trip included a heli bump from our lodge to nearby Mount McBride.
Prusik Peak is a clean, solid granite icon nestled in the Enchantments. On July 11th, 2020, Johnny Devine and I completed a 21 mile through hike of the Enchantments with a climb of the West Ridge of Prusik Peak. Easy low 5.7 grade climbing with spectacular views.
Characterized as one of the “50 Classic Climbs of North America,” the Torment-Forbidden Traverse (TFT) is a mile of snow, ice, and rock ridge situated between the peaks of Mount Torment and Forbidden Peak in North Cascades National Park. On July 28th, 2019, Johnny Devine and I had the great fortune to complete the climb in a 1-day car-to-car push in perfect weather and near-ideal route conditions. More pics here.
Our good friend, Gabe Murphy, scored the golden ticket to the Kokanee Glacier Cabin in the prime of British Columbia's powder season, February 23rd - March 2nd, 2019. On this trip, I got my first true taste of pillow skiing. Yum!

On April 21- 28th, 2018 we had extended high-pressure at the Fairy Meadow Hut that allowed us to pick off the majority of the big peaks in the surrounding Adamant Range. Our good buddy, Danny LeBlanc, of Revelstoke created a little edit of our time practicing what we like to term extreme-leisure.
